These Siblings are Unique in Spirit and Bound by Love.
Recently I was photographing a group of siblings that made a big impact on me. Any photographer that shoots children knows how hard it is to keep the attention of a young child much less a group. I went into this shoot expecting it to be quick and a little difficult. I was proven very wrong. These kids were wonderful to work with. Tyreeze, Jayhydia, Zahkia, and Jamarquez were easier to work with then some models I’ve shot (But don’t tell the models that).
When my assistant and me arrived at the University of South Florida’s Botanical Gardens that was our location for the day we took a look around and knew we had a great spot. The kids were already hyped up for the shoot and eager to play young models. For the techno nerds reading this, we used a Profoto D1 Air 500 with a Profoto 3ft octo. Very quick and efficient to set up while giving me a lot of control over my lighting.
Below are some of my favorite shots. For more information on these kids please visit the Heart Gallery of Tampa. Link at the bottom also
When I saw this "Head in the hole" I was instantly drawn in by the colors and texture and so were the kids because they jumped right in with out me asking.
This is one of my favorite moment's between the kids.
